When it comes to gaming, I have to be organized, from dice trays to now my single sided cards, I am not OCD, but it feels really good for each item to have a home. Plus when it comes time to traveling to a tournament, having the items organized is a big plus.
Organized dice and token trays (not all Guilds shown).
Now that I have all these printed 4x6 single sided cards, I had to find a home for them. I thought about just getting one single plastic box to store all the prints, and then two smaller albums to use for single Guilds when we play at an event or a store. While grocery shopping with the wife yesterday at Meijer's, I went my own separate way and started my hunt to organize my cards.
Right away I found the perfect albums to use for the single Guilds, they were priced at $1.49 each and can hold 24 prints, perfect for a 12+ Guild Roster. The covers of the albums were also sleeved, so I had to add a Guild Ball logo print.
Albums to hold a single Guild.
4x6 card fits nicely for transportation.
Now I had to find a box to hold all the cards. On the end cap of one of the photo isles, I found the perfect box, or shall I say boxes. Meijer's has a plastic photo box, and inside each plastic box were six smaller individual photo boxes, I thought perfect, one for each Guild. Each box was priced around $11 and I needed two boxes (the last two that they had). I then realized that with the Minor Guilds, twelve boxes was not going to be enough. Since there was plenty of room inside each smaller box, doubling up a Major/Minor Guild would be perfect. I would then be set for at least two years (until all the Minors are released and still leaves room for another Major/Minor).
Of course the organization in me had to label each box with the Guild names so we can easily see what cards are inside each box. Both boxes then also stack nicely on top of each other and are stored on my shelf.
