BMG: Black Site Studios "Park Benches 1"

Part of my recent order from Back Site Studios, I included a set (4) of their Suburbia Park Benches.  I wanted to get these benches to help fill put some of the grassy areas on one of our BMG gaming mats, the open grassy area felt to plain and thought these would help a bit.

BMG: 4Ground "Shipping Container (A)" Terrain

I had almost forgotten that I had another Shipping Container (A) from 4Ground. sitting on my shelf waiting to be built until I noticed it the other night.  When my son and I were at Spring Fling last month for Guild Ball, I had made a purchase at the host store and it was this container.  Seeing how this month has been the month of Batman Miniature Game terrain building, I thought I'd squeeze in one more for the month.

BMG: Black Site Studios "City Bus Stop 2"

Along with the Industrial Dumpsters that were posted yesterday, I had ordered more items from Black Site Studios.  I had to purchase another City Bus Stop to go along with one I assembled last month, one bus stop was not enough for the city of Gotham.

I still have a few more items left to assemble from my order, but those may wait till next week.

BMG: Black Site Studios "Industrial Dumpsters 3"

When I went to build my second set of Industrial Dumpsters from Black Site Studios, I did not realize when I ordered them that they come in sets of 2 (I had forgotten), so instead of ordering 2 Dumpsters, I ended up with 4....the more the better.

Here are Industrial Dumpsters #'s 5 & 6. (6 Dumpsters will really help out the table with terrain).

BMG: Black Site Studios "Industrial Dumpsters 2"

I really like my Industrial Dumpsters from Black Site Studios so much that I went and ahead and ordered some more.  When playing on a city themed mat, I really like to have the board filled up as much as possible, grant it the dumpsters may not be used that much in a game (the occasional Ping! roll) but they help fill out the gaming mat with terrain.

BMG: Muse on Minis "Shipping Crates"

While attending this past weekend's MuseOn Con in Des Moines, I really wanted to purchase some of the Muse on Minis "Shipping Crates" that they make for the Batman Miniature Game.  When we arrived and did our shopping, I was a little disappointed that they had none for sale.

During our 350 Rep Batmatch Tournament on Saturday, during Game 3 one of the prizes for securing an Objective was to win one of their crates....perfect.  My opponent and I both tied in achieving our Objectives at the same time, so it went to the person who also controlled a second Objective, unfortunately that was my opponent so he won the Crate.  My opponent was from Minnesota and one of the cast member of the Boy Wonders podcast, he was nice enough and offered the Crate to me....I was very thankful.  When our event was over, I had found out that my son and won one also, so we came home with two Crates.  Yesterday I had some time and quickly assembled them, they are much smaller than our Crates from 4Ground, but they will still work out nicely.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "Urban Building"

This is the last of the Plast Craft Games buildings that I recently ordered for the Batman Miniature Game.  With the existing 4Ground buildings we have and now these Plast Craft Buildings, our BMG table is starting to look more like a city.

The final building "Urban Building" is from the Urban line of buildings.  Just like with the "City Building" I posted yesterday, the fire escape on the building is just a bit too narrow for a model to fit on, but we'll make do.

We have a game lined up this weekend and we shall see what the table will look like, I think all that is missing is just some more urban obstacles, like dumpsters and barricades and such.

No the problem is having to store all this 3D terrain.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "Sanitarium"

Another building from the Malifaux line by Plast Craft Games is the "Sanitarium" or in my case it will be used as "Arkham Asylum".  As with the "Old Town Building" from earlier today, the "Sanitarium" has platforms big enough to hold models from the Batman Miniature Game.

I have been really enjoying building these buildings from Plast Craft Games and have been very happy with how they assemble and look.  They are a lot easier to put together than the MDF terrain from 4 Ground and I think the detail is still high quality.  As with both companies, the huge plus for me is that they come pre painted.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "Old Town Building"

I have 2 more buildings that were completed for the Batman Miniature Game and both will be posted today.  This building is once again from Plast Craft Games, but instead of the Urban line like the previous 2 buildings, this building is from their Malifaux line of buildings, similar to my "Circus Set".

The nice thing about the Malifaux line is that the model bases for Malifaux are similar to BMG so the buildings are more geared towards that size and as you can tell in the below picture, the back deck will be able to hold a model.

Up first is the "Old Town Building".

BMG: Plast Craft Games "City Building"

A second post today since it has been a pretty busy week with models and buildings.

To go along with the Urban "Court House" I posted yesterday, today is another building from the Urban line of Plast Craft Games and it is a "City Building".  One change I made to this building (and it is a small one), the front fences are suppose to be glued to building, I left them unattached.  Depending on where we place the building on our gaming mat, I did not want the fences to end up in the middle of the street.  Then the one slight disappointment in the kit is that the back fire escape is just a bit too narrow for one of the models to stand on the platform, it can still fit up there but on the railing of the fire escape and we may play it like that here at home.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "Court House"

Just to change it up a bit from posting another model, today will be another piece of terrain for the Batman Miniature Game.  I really like the way my "Circus Set" came out from Plast Craft Games that I went ahead and ordered a few more of their actual buildings.  Miniature Market was having a sale last week on Malifaux items, and Plast Craft Games make a line of buildings for Malifaux so these were included in their sale.  I went ahead and ordered 2 of their Malifaux buildings and 3 of their buildings from their Urban line.

My buildings arrived yesterday afternoon and I had to get started on one of them (maybe 2) so that way I can have a few more ready for this weekend's gaming.

Technically on Plast Craft Games this building is labeled as a Post Office, but here in Gotham City it will be our Court House.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "Circus Set"

A couple of weeks ago when I started purchasing some 'Joker' models for the Batman Miniature Game, I thought to myself how cool it would be to play on a circus themed tabled.  I then remembered from AdeptiCon 2018 while watching some of the Malifaux gaming, such terrain does exist.

Plast Craft Games had teamed up with Wyrd Games (makers of Malifaux) to released some licensed terrain, and one of the sets they released was the circus.  I then visited the Plast Craft Games website to see what all was available for the circus, and there was quite a few different items including a "Big Top Stage" which was a must needed item, heck, actually all of it was needed.  Between Miniature Market and Amazon, I was able to order everything I wanted.  Amazon deliveries were quick, but with Miniature Market I had to wait a bit for it to arrive, and then one day the circus came into town.

There is a lot of assembly needed for all of this and my usual super glue worked great.  The material is some sort of plastic (hence the name of the company) and it all comes pre-painted which is what I have been looking for lately.

I started assembling some items when it first arrived and ran out of time, but last night I was able to finish up the last two boxes and complete my circus.

I also knew I needed a gaming mat for the circus set and decided to check out my two usual companies, Frontline Gaming and Tablewar and elected to go with the "Cave Floor" design from Tablewar.

I like the terrain so much, that I just went ahead and order some Urban and Malifaux buildings for our city mat.

BMG: 4Ground "North Point Tenement 2" Terrain

With my son being back in Arizona for the week, it has given me more time this weekend to hobby/model instead of playing.  I still had one building sitting on the shelf not built for the Batman Miniature Game, and this weekend was the perfect time to work on it.

The last building I had (all purchased at last years GenCon) was the North Point Tenement 2 from 4Ground which is part of their Gothic City line.

I started on the building last night after dinner and I was just able to finish it now.

The next time I get a chance to play BMG on our home table, I will have to evaluate the gaming mat and see how many more buildings we can fit in.
