BMG: Plast Craft Games "Old Town Building"

I have 2 more buildings that were completed for the Batman Miniature Game and both will be posted today.  This building is once again from Plast Craft Games, but instead of the Urban line like the previous 2 buildings, this building is from their Malifaux line of buildings, similar to my "Circus Set".

The nice thing about the Malifaux line is that the model bases for Malifaux are similar to BMG so the buildings are more geared towards that size and as you can tell in the below picture, the back deck will be able to hold a model.

Up first is the "Old Town Building".

BMG: Killer Croc (Waylon Jones) [Unknown]

Another member of the Suicide Squad was completed this week (and the last model for the Squad that was prepped for painting) is 'Killer Croc'.  I have no near future plans of using this model, I just thought he would be a fairly quick and easy model to paint and get completed.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "City Building"

A second post today since it has been a pretty busy week with models and buildings.

To go along with the Urban "Court House" I posted yesterday, today is another building from the Urban line of Plast Craft Games and it is a "City Building".  One change I made to this building (and it is a small one), the front fences are suppose to be glued to building, I left them unattached.  Depending on where we place the building on our gaming mat, I did not want the fences to end up in the middle of the street.  Then the one slight disappointment in the kit is that the back fire escape is just a bit too narrow for one of the models to stand on the platform, it can still fit up there but on the railing of the fire escape and we may play it like that here at home.

BMG: June 1st 2019 Pre-Orders

Knight Models just released their next wave of pre-orders for the Batman Miniature Game which should be available on June 1st 2019.

First is a new Bat-Box for the 'Teen Titans', next is a 6 model box with 'Joker' (Jared Leto) and 'Crew', followed by a single model of the 'Bronze Tiger'.

Not sure if I will do a pre-order from Knight Models (I am still waiting for my last order), but I think when these arrive in the US stores, the 'Teen Titans' and 'Joker' may be seeing there way home.

BMG: Deadshot (Floyd Lawton) [Unknown]

I have been working on a few models and a few buildings at the same time, so the first post for today will be another Batman Miniature Game model with 'Deadshot' from the Suicide Squad box.

'Deadshot' also nicknamed 'Willshot' (Will Smith's from the movie) is a great model to have if you like to shoot in the game, and boy do I like to shoot, more than likely this model will be seeing a lot of playing time in game that I play of 350 Rep.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "Court House"

Just to change it up a bit from posting another model, today will be another piece of terrain for the Batman Miniature Game.  I really like the way my "Circus Set" came out from Plast Craft Games that I went ahead and ordered a few more of their actual buildings.  Miniature Market was having a sale last week on Malifaux items, and Plast Craft Games make a line of buildings for Malifaux so these were included in their sale.  I went ahead and ordered 2 of their Malifaux buildings and 3 of their buildings from their Urban line.

My buildings arrived yesterday afternoon and I had to get started on one of them (maybe 2) so that way I can have a few more ready for this weekend's gaming.

Technically on Plast Craft Games this building is labeled as a Post Office, but here in Gotham City it will be our Court House.

BMG: Captain Boomerang (George Harkness) [Unknown]

Since playing 2 games of Batman Miniature Game this past weekend for MuseOn Con practice, afterwards I was second guessing one of my models in my crew ('Tet') since I really did not do to much with his Flamethrower, although against 'Joker' or 'Penguin' crews it may come in handy.

If I remove 'Tet' and the additional 12 Rep I had left over, I could fit in 'Captain Boomerang' from the Suicide Squad who can work for 'Two-Face' as a Free Agent.  So yesterday I quickly assembled the model and threw it on my painting table and he was quickly completed.  I am hoping to give him a try this weekend (if time allows) to see how he does compared to 'Tet'.

Weekly Chronicle 2019 #19

I am pretty happy with the week I had for Week #19 of 2019.  I was able to get some models completed, and still get a few games in over the weekend.

First up is the models completed for the week.  Shockingly I was able to finish my entire Cook's Minor Guild for Guild Ball (besides the 2 Limited Edition models).  My goal was to originally just finish 'Cinnamon' and 'Roast' so they can be played with my Butcher's Guild, but I just kept on going and finished the remaining 4 models to complete the box of 6.  By doing so though meant I did not paint any models for Batman Miniature Game.

Friday night I took the evening to finish up on my Circus Themed table for BMG needing only to complete the Big Top Stage and Circus Wagons, now that table completed and ready for gaming.

The the weekend came and it was time to get a few games in (mixed in with some chores).  First up on Saturday was a game of X-Wing and playing my Millennium Falcon list up against 4 T-65 X-Wings, it was the first loss for that Falcon list, I am leaning towards going back to playing my Scum next and compare which I like better.  We will be playing X-Wing at this years NOVA Open in September, so we are throwing in a game every now and then to make sure we do not forget any of the rules.

Sunday was 2 games of BMG to prep for MuseOn Con in 11 days.  I like the list that I have, but I am considering making one change to list (but I am still undecided).  My plan is to get that model painted this week and see which I like better.

We only have 1 more weekend of practice until MuseOn Con.

Battle Report: BMG 5/12/2019 (Batman vs Two-Face)

Yesterday was a game of X-Wing (which I lost) and today, my son and I were able to get in 2 games of Batman Miniature Game to ready myself for MuseOn Con in 12 days.

Since at MuseOn Con we are not playing in the 350 Rep game, but instead the 250 on Friday and 200 Teams on Sunday, our practice games consisted of our 250 Rep lists.

My 'Two-Face' led Organized Crime list consisted of the following:

Organized Crime Crew
Models: 6Reputation: 238/250Funding: 1000$/1000$
[Boss][L] Two-Face [99/0$]
[H] Prisoner 04211 [18/400$]
[H] High Security Henchman [40/0$]
[H] Nen [23/0$]
[H] Tet [36/300$]
[H] Vov [22/300$]

We randomly rolled for our games, and Game #1 was "Asphalt Jungle"

Game #1

With most of the Objectives being in the center of the table, the scoring was going to be on the higher side.  My son place the Bat Signal and an Ammo Crate on top of the center building, and I kept my Objectives on ground level.

The 'Two-Face' crew managed to take care of the Cops on the ground and 'Batman' was doing work on top of the building.  I was not able to shut off the Bat Signal with 'Batman' there, but managed to not allow him to score points from the Ammo Crate.  On the ground level, my crew were able to score me VP's each turn.

In the end, 'Two-Face' got a Major Victory 48-22

The models, Objectives, Sewers and Lamp Posts were removed from the table as we prepped the mat for Game 2, we left all the terrain in the same spot and once again rolled for scenario, this time we rolled "Patrol".

Game #2

With Deployment Zones being in opposite corners, along with Objectives, I had a feeling the scoring was going to be on the lower side.

I made the move and sent some guys through the Sewers to get near my Objectives (one of them being 'Two-Face') and he managed to kill 2 Cops that were near my Ammo Crate an I managed to score points for 2 rounds with it.

'Batman' had the choice to try and turn on the Bat Signal or try to deal with my crew and scoring VP's, he went over to my crew leaving me scoring 1 VP from the Bat Signal each round,he tried to get some of his crew over to the Bat Signal but I had 2 Henchmen with guns protecting it.

In the end it was 'Batman' vs 'Two-Face ' in a stare down since neither of us could roll any good dice to do any damage.

This was a tight game, but 'Two-Face' managed a Minor Victory 18-5.

BMG: Plast Craft Games "Circus Set"

A couple of weeks ago when I started purchasing some 'Joker' models for the Batman Miniature Game, I thought to myself how cool it would be to play on a circus themed tabled.  I then remembered from AdeptiCon 2018 while watching some of the Malifaux gaming, such terrain does exist.

Plast Craft Games had teamed up with Wyrd Games (makers of Malifaux) to released some licensed terrain, and one of the sets they released was the circus.  I then visited the Plast Craft Games website to see what all was available for the circus, and there was quite a few different items including a "Big Top Stage" which was a must needed item, heck, actually all of it was needed.  Between Miniature Market and Amazon, I was able to order everything I wanted.  Amazon deliveries were quick, but with Miniature Market I had to wait a bit for it to arrive, and then one day the circus came into town.

There is a lot of assembly needed for all of this and my usual super glue worked great.  The material is some sort of plastic (hence the name of the company) and it all comes pre-painted which is what I have been looking for lately.

I started assembling some items when it first arrived and ran out of time, but last night I was able to finish up the last two boxes and complete my circus.

I also knew I needed a gaming mat for the circus set and decided to check out my two usual companies, Frontline Gaming and Tablewar and elected to go with the "Cave Floor" design from Tablewar.

I like the terrain so much, that I just went ahead and order some Urban and Malifaux buildings for our city mat.
