I know come to the final model for my Brewer’s Guild with ‘Stoker’, a Defensive Midfielder for the Guild. It feels good to complete an entire Guild. Not that I have even tried to play with the Brewer’s yet, I just like all the models that Steamforged is putting out for Guild Ball and want my entire collection to be painted. Eventually when games are esier to get in (when my son moves up) I am sure I will be trying the Brewer’s out.
Back to completing some Guild Ball models for a few days and wrapping up my Brewer’s Guild. I was down to just 2 models left to complete and then I swayed towards my Minions for a little bit. Well it is time to finish them up. 
Last month at SteamCon USA I was lucky enough to be able to get two ‘Lucky’ models with the amount of purchases I made at the con store. ‘Lucky’ plays for two Guilds, the Brewer’s and the Mason’s so I wanted to have one for each Guild. This is actually the only duplicate model I currently have for Guild Ball. Some players match their Union player’s paint scheme to each Guild, but my Union will be painted their own color and then just play for whatever Guild they can. Currently the only ther player that is cross-guild is ‘Compound’ and I only own one of that model and he is painted more in line with my Engineer’s (with a small hint of Alchemist’s).
I am doing pretty good for my paint queue so far this year (I had a really good first week of the year) and I now have another Brewer’s Guid model completed with ‘Mash’. That then leaves me 2 more models to complete for the Brewer’s 12 along with Lucky. After ‘Mash’ here I am working on my 2 Lucky’s (1 for Brewer’s and 1 for Mason’s) then we may move back to Hordes Minions for a little bit before coming back to finish up the Brewer’s Guild.
Back to the Brewer’s Guild for a little bit while I wait for some more models to be released for my Minions later this month. I have the second Captain for the Brewer’s Guild with ‘Esters’.
As I mentioned in my post “What’s in store for 2018”, conpleting my Brewer’s Guild were up on my list. The reason that they were higher up on the list than my Blacksmith’s or Farmer’s Guilds is that at AdeptiCon 2018 in March, my son and I will be playing in the Guild Ball Homelands Cup that Sunday. My son decided that he wanted to play the Nationality of ‘Raed’ and in his roster he wanted to use ‘Veteran Spigot’. I had not yet finished ‘Veteran Spigot’ as he was in the second set of 6 models I needed to complete for my Brewer’s. So here we are working on my priorities and ‘Veteran Spigot’ is now completed.
I officially started on the second set of 6 Brewer’s that came in the “Sing When You’re Winning” box with the Mascot, ‘Quaff’. I do not know why, but I like startring with Mascots, maybe becuse they are usally quick and easy and feels like an accomplishment to finish a model for them. I still have 5 more models left in the box plus ‘Lucky’ and then the Brewer’s Guild will be complete.
